Residents of Gubadli have visited their region liberated from the Armenian occupation after 28 years.

According to AzTV's Social Media and PR Department, the residents, who have visited their hometown, are from Poladli village.

One out of each family both visited their native village and took a walk in Gubadli. The interesting fact is that each of them is a veteran of Karabakh War.

The next edition of Azerbaijan Television's "Our Motherland Azerbaijan" project is dedicated to Gubadli and Poladli natives.

The shootings have been conducted in Gubadli city, Dondarli, Damirchilar, Mirlar and Gazyan villages. However, the main shootings of the program have been conducted in Poladli village.

Before the occupation, 18 families had lived in Poladli village. Despite the fact that it is a small village, one or two people from each family participated in the battles for Karabakh. Some of them were even participants of the Patriotic War.

The first thing Zahir Yusifov, the participant of the both wars, did was to hoist the Azerbaijani flag to the highest peak of the village.

Afterwards, Poladli residents found their houses, took a look at their ruined hometown.

Famous tar performer Elman Sadigov performed mugham within the dilapidated walls of the house where he spent his childhood.

The old neighbors gathered together in the village and baked bread like 28 years ago, planted trees as the symbol of the return to Karabakh. They caught fish from the Agha River and made tea from its water. The residents noted that for years, they could not get the taste of this tea anywhere else.

The village residents also visited the grave of National Hero Aliyar Aliyev.

One of the people, who has visited his village, is Karabakh war veteran, employee of AzTV Rasim Madad.

The Damirchilar Mausoleum dated back to the 14th century, Haji Badal Bridge dated back to the 19th century, Mir Sadi agha Enshrine and other historical monuments of Gubadli will be demonstrated on the program.

"Our Motherland Azerbaijan" program's edition dedicated to Gubadli will be broadcast on November 21 at 10:30 on AzTV
