On January 20, at 12:00 Baku time, the memory of the January 20 martyrs was commemorated throughout the whole territory of Azerbaijan with one-minute silence.

The movement of transport was stopped, signals were given from ships, cars, the state flags were lowered as a sign of mourning.

It is noteworthy that in connection with the 32nd anniversary, the memory of the martyrs is honored throughout all cities and regions of the country, commemorative ceremonies are held. 

Starting from the early hours of January 20, people have been visiting the Alley of Martyrs and putting flowers on their graves.
