The V "Kharibulbul" International Folklore Festival has started since today. 

Musicians, dance groups from 10 foreign countries, as well as folklore bands from different regions of Azerbaijan will participate in the Festival. 

The "Kharibulbul" International Folklore Festival was first held in 1989 and dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Seyid Shushinski. After 30 years, as a result of the bright victory in the Patriotic War, the Festival will take place on May 12-13 on the Jidir Plain, Shusha. The Festival has been organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. 

The organization of the Festival in May is no coincidence, because kharibulbul (ophrys caucasica) blossoms this month. 

The "Kharibulbul" Festival is of great importance. Its organization in Shusha, the declaration of Shusha the cultural capital of Azerbaijan and the Turkic world are a political message.
