PARLIAMENT HOUR

Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a state body carrying out legislation in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Milli Majlis consists of one house and 125 members. Members of Parliament are elected in transparent, secret voting. The tenure of members of Parliament is 5 years. Parliamentary elections are conducted every five years on the first Sunday of November. Spring and autumn sessions are held in the Parliament annually.
The "PARLIAMENT HOUR" program is prepared by the Public-Political Programs Studio. Issues discussed in Milli Majlis are analyzed on the program. On the program, members of Parliament react to adopted laws, and at the same time, share their opinions with viewers.
Information about meetings at the Legal Policy and State Building Committee, Defense, Security and Fight against Corruption Committee, Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology Committee, Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee, Agrarian Policy Committee, Labor and Social Policy Committee, Health Committee, Public Unions and Religious Institutions Committee, Family, Women and Children's Affairs Committee, Youth and Sports Committee, Science and Education Committee, Culture Committee, Regional Affairs Committee, International Relations and Interparliamentary Committee, Chamber of Commerce is also provided on the program.
