31 years have passed since the bloody January 20 Tragedy. In connection with the 31st anniversary of the bloody massacre committed by the Soviet Empire in Baku, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have visited the Alley of Martyrs. 

Head of state Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have commemorated the memory of those who have lost their lives for the sake of Azerbaijan. 

President Ilham Aliyev has laid a wreath in front of the "Eternal flame". The state anthem of Azerbaijan Republic has been played.
