The commemoration ceremony dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the January 20 Tragedy has been held in Shusha city with the participation of servicemen of the Azerbaijani army. 

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, the memory of the martyrs was honored with one-minute silence. Afterwards, the state anthem of Azerbaijan Republic was performed. 

At the event, the historical significance of the January 20 Tragedy was highlighted; detailed information was provided about the success of the policy pursued by national leader Heydar Aliyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in delivering the truth to the world community.
