AzTV's employee joins trainings on topic of "Journalism in wartime"

Trainings on the topic of "Journalism in wartime" are underway in Turkey's Ankara.

The purpose of the trainings is to increase professionalism during wars, natural disasters, emergency situations. Twenty four journalists from Azerbaijan take part in the trainings. 

On the next day of the trainings on the topic of "Journalism in wartime", information about hiking, night camps, ambush and ways to protect oneself from ambush, as well as ways to use weapons has been provided to participants. 

Automobile trainings have also been held for media representatives. Employee of Azerbaijan Television Elnur Tofig, who prepared reportages during the 44-day Patriotic War, also participates in the trainings.

In general, the trainings will envisage the topics such as the safety of journalists during wars, natural disasters, emergency situations, their behavior and activity, war theory and terminology, protection during the usage of chemical and biological weapons, application of first aid, information security, surviving in water, reading of maps, persuading strategies, media management in emergency situations, broadcasting principles and other topics. Those, who successfully complete the trainings, will be awarded the "Military Journalism Certificate". 

The trainings have been organized by the Anadolu Agency, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, Turkey Police Academy and Media Development Agency and will run until August 20.
