People's Artist of Azerbaijan, oboe performer, composer and pedagogue Kamil Jalilov has passed away at the age of 84. 

It is noteworthy that he was born on January 29, 1938, in Baku's Buzovna settlement.

Kamil Jalilov was the first performer who brought oboe to the mugham music genre.
