The reportage based on the article "Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: ceasefire violations" written about Tartar by journalist Oliver Mayer-Rüth, who has visited Azerbaijan, has been broadcast on Germany's ARD TV channel.

It has been noted in the reportage that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Nagorno-Karabakh "declared its so-called independence" with the support of Armenia. The so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" is not internationally recognized, and in accordance with international law, it is considered a part of Azerbaijan.

It has been highlighted that on September 27, the conflict escalated again. The Armenian armed forces bombed Tartar region and adjacent villages, as well as a number of other human settlements. So far, hundreds of civilians have been killed.

At the same time, the interview of grandfather of 16-year-old Orkhan Ismayilzade, who has been killed as a result of the missile attack on Tartar, Tofig Abbasov has been broadcast in the reportage.
