"Now, I have been informed that Armenia's Foreign Minister has arrived in Khankendi. What are you doing there? They should not forget the war," said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the meeting in a video format dedicated to the results of 2020.

The head of state noted that an end must be put to such visits: "They should not forget that the iron fist is in its place. An end must be put to such visits. We warn that if such provocative steps are taken, Armenia will regret more. Now, steps are taken to normalize relations. Russia has presented its mediating opportunities to the parties. The delegation consisting of Russia's government representatives, that has recently visited Azerbaijan and Armenia, held talks on this issue.

Alright, if relations are normalized, then, why is there a need for visits of provocative nature? What do they want to show? Do they want to irritate us again? They should not forget that they have paid a high price for such steps. Therefore, an end must be put to all visits. No foreign citizen can visit that region without our permission. No international organization, except the Red Cross, can go there. This is our territory. The entire world recognizes this area as Azerbaijan's inalienable part. Armenia's Foreign Minister, who are you to go there? We are warning. If such a step is repeated, our response will be very strict. We have warned through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the first time. After this, a warning will be given in another way. They better stay in their own country."
