One-minute silence in Shusha...

The dear memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic War, who sacrificed their lives for the sake of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, has been commemorated in Shusha liberated from the Armenian occupation. 

On September 27 at 12:00, a minute of silence was declared in the territory of Azerbaijan, including Shusha. People honored the souls of the martyred soldiers and officers, commemorated their memory with a minute of silence. 

The tricolor flag of Azerbaijan has been raised at the Flag Square to the sound of the State Anthem. Afterwards, brave Azerbaijani soldiers marched towards the Shusha Tower. 

It is noteworthy that in accordance with the order of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev dated December 2, 2020, September 27 was declared the Remembrance Day in honor of the soldiers and officers, all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's territorial integrity. 

Today, commemorative events are being held throughout all cities and regions, as well as the liberated territories; prayers are being read in memory of the brave sons of the Motherland in all religious temples of Azerbaijan - mosques, churches, synagogues.
