"Armenia must correctly assess the new geopolitical situation in the region and draw conclusions," said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration.

He has noted that President Ilham Aliyev also touched upon issues related to the normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations in an interview with local television channels:

"In his interview, the President talked about the start of negotiations on signing a potential peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We expect relevant responses from Armenia."
