Baku will host the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in 2027, referring to the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.

The decision was made by voting at a meeting of the Council of the International Gymnastics Federation in the Turkish city of Antalya.

The competition will be organized on September 15-19 at the National Gymnastics Arena.

Israel also put forward a candidacy for hosting the World Championships. The 2027 competition will be the third Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship organized in Azerbaijan. Championships in Baku have already been held in 2005 and 2019.
