Azerbaijani MP: "Shusha city has uninterrupted tourism potential"

"The restoration of Karabakh will have a positive impact on the development of domestic tourism," said MP Vugar Bayramov on Azerbaijan Television's "Main topic" program.

The MP noted that the construction of airports in Fuzuli, Zangilan and Lachin regions will have a positive impact on the development of the East-West transport corridor, cargo transportation and tourism: "The restoration of our liberated territories is carried out in a short period of time. This region has big development potential. There are prospects in the field of tourism as well. After the restoration of the region, it is expected that the interest in foreign tourism will reduce, and thus, domestic tourism will develop."

He also shared his opinion about the tourism potential of Shusha city: "Shusha city has uninterrupted tourism potential in terms of season, treatment and unique architecture."

The MP highlighted that not only local investors, but also foreign investors, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, will participate in the restoration process.
