One year passes since Ganja city was subjected to the first rocket attack by the Armenian armed forces during the Patriotic War. 

The rockets fired by the Armenians on October 4, 2020, at approximately 10 o'clock, fell on civil human settlements, as well as a two-storey building and two private houses in Azerbaijan's second largest city.

As a result, one civilian - Tunar Goshgar Aliyev became a martyr, 32 civilians were injured. Along with residential houses, civil infrastructure and ancient historical buildings were damaged. 

This rocket attack was the first attack carried out by Armenia beyond the Karabakh region where the battles were underway.  

During the Patriotic War, the Armenian armed forces carried out 5 rocket and artillery attacks against Ganja city. As a result, 26 people became martyrs, 175 people were wounded, civil infrastructure facilities and vehicles were damaged.

Overall, as a result of the Armenian military aggression, 93 civilians, including 12 children and 27 women, were killed, 454 civilians were injured, 12, 292 residential and non-residential facilities, 288 vehicles were damaged.
