The Russian authorities have decided to recall the commander of the Russian peacekeepering contingent, Andrey Volkov, from Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, via Yerevan-based Hraparak.
The commander's duties have been transferred to a colonel general, an experienced military man and one of the most trusted persons of Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu.
