Municipalities will be created in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Farid Aliyev, head of the sector for work with municipalities of the department for territorial and organizational issues of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan, said at a public hearing in parliament on the topic of Heydar Aliyev’s legacy in the development of local democracy, self-government and regions in Azerbaijan.

"Life in the territories liberated from occupation will be completely restored in the near future, and we will witness the development of all spheres there, including the sphere of local self-government," he said.
