Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures on the improvement of the social protection of the population.
It is noted in the order that in recent years, significant steps have been taken to increase the welfare of groups of the population in need of social protection; such people have been successfully involved in numerous social programs, including health, rehabilitation, free vacation, technical restoration and transport means. The expansion of the rehabilitation-medical network in regions has been ensured; children’s rehabilitation centers have been created for strengthening the medical-social rehabilitation of children with disabilities.
According to the order, 20, 019, 100 AZN have been allocated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Republic.
