"Azerbaijan Television will switch to HD format since 2020. The necessary equipment has been purchased for the broadcasting of programs from the new server system. This is a big stage in the history of the 63-year-old Azerbaijan Television," said chairman of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC Rovshan Mammadov at the next meeting of the Artistic Council.

He noted that more than 10 video editing computers have been purchased for the efficient preparation of programs.

It was also highlighted that "Baku with Nadezhda", "Law and me" programs will go on air in the upcoming days. Members of the Artistic Council exchanged views on the programs broadcast on Azerbaijan Television, "Madaniyyat" (Culture) and "Idman" (Sports) channels and made their suggestions and complaints.

The next meeting of the Artistic Council will be held in January of 2020.
