The Social Research Center has conducted the social research of the media landscape and public opinion survey in Azerbaijan.
"The News" information program of Azerbaijan Television has been chosen the most watched news program by the population. Thus, 87.6% of the survey participants noted that they watch "The News" program of AzTV to obtain information about events taking place in the country and in the world.
The information program of ARB TV channel is in the second place with 60.8% of votes and ITV TV channel in the third place with 37.7%.
It is noteworthy that "The News" information program of Azerbaijan Television goes on air every day 13 times - 08:00, 09:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 16:30 (Culture news), 18:00 (in Russian), 19:00 (Regional news), 19:30 (Economic news), 20:00, 00:00, 02:00 (in English). The program has correspondents in North America, North Africa and Arab countries, Turkey (Ankara and Istanbul), Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, China and Eastern Asia and Western European countries.
