Wells will be drilled in order to eliminate the consequences of the active landslide in Badamdar settlement of Baku and prevent the repetition of analogical cases. The project has been prepared in connection with the works to be carried out.

Three wells will be drilled in the upper part of the landslide area. Metal boards will be used to toughen from the inside the wells with the depth of 30 meters. The drilling of walls will be launched after metal boards are brought from Japan.

Head of the Department of the "AzerInshaat" Project Institute Samir Valiyev says that terraces will be created in the mentioned area.

50-meter filters will be installed inside the wells. Water will flow to the well through entering filters. Water will be delivered to the collector via the line.

Restoration works have been carried out in 13 temporary drainage wells; water pumps have been purchased. Six wells with the depth of 100-150 meters already operate, and 5 other wells will also start operating in the upcoming days. It will allow the stabilization of the situation. Another problem which needs to be solved is sewage lines.

Thus, 7 residential houses located in the upper part of the landslide area have no sewage line. The way out of the situation is that the sewage line of these houses must be put away. A project on this issue is already ready. Works will be launched in the upcoming days.

The main aim is to turn the flow of underground waters into a natural process.

It is noteworthy that on January 9, a landslide occurred in Badamdar. The landslide moved towards the automobile road between Badamdar - the 20th area and closed the road.
