Another yard reconstructed within "Our yard" project of the IDEA Public Union aimed at the renovation of the yards in need of repair was commissioned on February 11.
The renovated yard is located in Pirallahi district, S. Baghirov street 1, 2a, 8 and 16 and envisages 4 buildings with 400 residents.
The main objective of "Our yard" project is to clean and renovate Baku yards from the ecological point of view, restore greening, form a healthy lifestyle and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents.
The comfortable movement of people with disabilities has been taken into consideration in the newly renovated yard; various sports facilities, football and chess playgrounds and kids playground have been created in order to create conditions for the development of children of all age categories and in order for youth to spend quality time properly.
At the same time, 3 gazebos have been built in the area; garbage containers have been set up.
Taking into account the wish and interest of the residents, new lighting pillars have been set up; the facades, roofs and entrance gates of the buildings have been completely repaired. Along with the restoration of the trees in the area of the yard, 150 additional trees and bushes have been planted; a greening lane has been laid in the 3, 000-square-meter area.
It is planned to implement this project in all districts of Baku. In connection with this, citizens are recommended to submit their information and recommendations about the yards in need of repair to the IDEA Public Union.
