After the first session of the sixth Parliament (Milli Majlis) of Azerbaijan Republic, head of the Milli Majlis Apparatus Safa Mirzayev has given an exclusive interview to Azerbaijan Television (AzTV).
S.Mirzayev has said that the leadership and committee chairpersons of Milli Majlis have changed, and all these show that the reforms carried out in the country also continue in Milli Majlis: "Most likely, changes will happen in the activity of Milli Majlis. It will be related both to the legislation activity, and to the fields of representation, control, international relations. At the same time, we should carry out reforms at the Apparatus of Milli Majlis: both structural, and staff changes. We will involve young specialists in the activity of Milli Majlis. I hope the new leadership of Milli Majlis will do a great job in the upcoming days."
The head of the Apparatus has noted that Milli Majlis will work on new bills: "For example, a law on political parties is being prepared in a new version. Mr. President has also emphasized today that all political parties with positive activity will be involved in the processes in the country."
