Azerbaijan's Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev has become the guest of Azerbaijan Television's (AzTV) "Target" program. He talked about the videoconference held between the Health Ministers of the Turkic Council.
Along with this, Ogtay Shiraliyev also spoke about the situation of the country's healthcare system, vaccination and works carried out during the pandemic. The Minister highlighted that vaccines are made against 11 infections in Azerbaijan. Regarding the works carried out in connection with the coronavirus, O.Shiraliyev said that a very unique system has been created in Azerbaijan for conducting coronavirus tests: "Accurate and operative steps have been taken to prevent the wide spread of the coronavirus, and we could deal with the disease. Now, we see the results of the taken steps and preventive measures. The World Health Organization (WHO) has positively assessed the works carried out by Azerbaijan in the fight against COVID-19."
