The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan has presented the updated statistics of the crimes committed against Azerbaijan's civilian population as a result of the Armenian provocations from September 27 till October 8, 13:00.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, as a result of Armenia's shelling of Azerbaijan's settlements from heavy artillery and missile systems, 31 civilians have been killed and 154 injured. Besides, 928 houses, 133 private facilities and 45 multi-storey residential buildings have been seriously damaged.

It is noteworthy that Armenia, which had to withdraw before the Azerbaijani army, has violated the norms and principles of international law, the 1949 Geneva Convention and its additional protocols, decisions and resolutions of the UN Security Council by intentionally targeting Azerbaijan's civilian population and cities and densely populated residential points located far away from the region of military operations.
