The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan has revealed the statistics of the crimes committed against Azerbaijan's civilian population as a result of the Armenian provocations from September 27 until 11:00 o'clock on October 16.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, as a result of the shelling of human settlements from heavy artillery and missile systems by the Armenian armed forces, 47 civilians have died, 222 injured. Moreover, 1, 669 houses, 84 multi-storey buildings and 301 private properties have been seriously damaged.
It is noteworthy that the Armenian armed forces, which had to withdraw before the Azerbaijani army, continue to shell the civilian population and Azerbaijan's cities and densely populated areas which are far away from the conflict zone violating the 1949 Geneva Conventions and its additional protocols, the decisions and resolutions of the UN Security Council.
