1, 622 people infected with COVID-19 in Azerbaijan over past period

1, 622 people have been infected with COVID-19, 979 people have recovered in Azerbaijan Republic within the last 24 hours.

According to the Operative Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 20 people, who earlier tested positive for the coronavirus, have died.

So far, 70, 216 people have contracted COVID-19. 51, 986 of them have recovered, 905 people have died. 17, 325 people are under ongoing treatment. 

Over the past period, 1, 479, 638 tests have been carried out. The number of today's tests is 11, 796.
