Works launched on clearing Zangilan, Gubadli from mines

Starting from December 15, works have been launched by experts of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), Ministry of Internal Affairs and Internal Troops on clearing from mines and unexploded devices sown areas in Zangilan and Gubadli regions liberated from the Armenian occupation, ANAMA reported.

It is noted that as a result of the operation-search measures taken on December 15-21, a 684, 000-square-meter area (68.4 ha) area was examined, 23 unexploded military devices (PHS) and 42 5.45-mm cartridges were retrieved.

As a result of the operation-search measures taken in Zangilan region, a 349, 000-square-meter (34.9 ha) area has been inspected, and a 335, 000-square-meter (33.5 ha) area has been examined in Gubadli region.

Operation-search measures are underway.
