Within the framework of the social support measures of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, providing veterans of the Patriotic War with high technology prosthesis continues. Three more war veterans - Ziya Aghami Kazimov, Rashad Amin Aliyev and Kanan Nadir Musayev have been provided with high technology prosthesis.
Chairman of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency Javid Abdul-Gadirov met with those war veterans. He talked about the special care of President Ilham Aliyev for war veterans. In accordance with the order of the head of state, a workshop on the preparation of high technology prosthesis has been created at the Prosthesis-Orthopedic Production and Rehabilitation Center. He highlighted that since December of last year, providing war veterans with modern prosthesis is carried out, and 10 war veterans have already been provided with 11 contemporary prosthesis.
Information about the advantages of modern prosthesis was given at the meeting. It was noted that prosthesis is prepared at the workshop created in cooperation with Germany's "OTTO BOKK" Company.
Afterwards, J.Abdul-Gadirov held a press conference regarding the works carried out in the medical-social expertise and rehabilitation fields.
The Agency chairman said that the works on the modernization of the rehabilitation system were underway. It was highlighted that in 2020, rehabilitation and social service facilities in Lankaran, Khachmaz, Shirvan, Shaki, Sumgayit, Goygol cities and regions were renovated and commissioned. The contemporary rehabilitation infrastructure has been created for providing war veterans with efficient medical-social rehabilitation services. This year, 4 modern rehabilitation and social service facilities will open.
