The memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic War is immortalized in Aghjabadi region. Streets of the city and some villages are named after the martyrs. Plaques are being installed in those streets.
42 people from Aghjabadi became martyrs in the 44-day Patriotic War.
Seven streets in Aghjabadi city, one street in Hindarkh settlement will be named after the martyrs. The names of the other martyrs will be given to the streets in the villages they were born in.
Memorial plaques have been installed in 5 streets named after the martyrs. This process is underway in other streets as well. 12 of the martyrs from Aghjabadi have been buried at the Alley of Martyrs in the city, and the others have been buried at the village cemetery.
