Five teachers, one pupil infected with COVID-19 in Baku

Since February 1, 5 teachers and 1 pupil have been infected with COVID-19.

According to Baku City Education Department, 9 pupils, 2 teachers, 1 school psychologist, 1 lab assistant, 1 deputy director have been self-quarantined due to being in contact with the coronavirus patient. 

The class attendance is 93% at schools of the capital Baku. 

As known, education has been resumed in primary classes and pre-school groups at schools. 

It is noteworthy that currently, the teaching process at schools is organized in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers' "Temporary rules of the organization of the teaching process at schools operating in Azerbaijan Republic during the special quarantine regime".

The sanitary-epidemiological rules are strictly followed at schools for the protection of pupils and the teaching staff. Baku City Education Department administration and employees go to schools on a daily basis and familiarize themselves with the organization of the teaching process.
