The memory of AzTV cameraman Siraj Abishov and "AzerTag" employee Maharram Ibrahimov, who have become martyrs as a result of the mine explosion in Kalbajar on June 4, 2021, has been immortalized.
According to the Social Media and PR Department of AzTV, their names have been engraved in the memorial monument complex created in memory of the Azerbaijani media martyrs in the territory of the "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC.
The Quran has been recited for the souls of the martyrs.
It is noteworthy that on June 4, 2021, the bus carrying employees of TV channels and news agencies got blown up by a landmine on the way to Kalbajar region's Susuzlug village. As a result, 3 people - Siraj Abishov (AzTV cameraman), Maharram Ibrahimov ("AzerTag" employee), Arif Aliyev (an official of Kalbajar Region Executive Power) were killed, and the other four people were taken to hospital with various injuries.
