President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed on July 7 an order on additional measures regarding the improvement of water supply of sown areas and providing the population with drinking water in Shamkir and Tovuz regions.
In accordance with the order, 1.4 million AZN have been allocated to Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC for the improvement of water supply of sown areas in 17 human settlements and projection and drilling of 20 subartezian wells for providing the population with drinking water in Shamkir and Tovuz regions.
