Azerbaijani President extends condolences to his Russian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The condolences letter reads:

"To His Excellency Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation

Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich.

I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of people in an accident at the Listvyajnaya coal mine in the Kemerovo region.

On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my sincere condolences to you, the relatives and friends of the victims, and wish a speedy recovery to all injured. "
