On November 26, the conference of Azerbaijan Chess Federation was held. 

The new elections for the leadership of the Federation were held. Mahir Mammadov was elected the president of the Federation for 4 years as a result of the elections. 

Faig Hasanov was elected the first vice-president, and Seymur Talibov - the vice-president. 

Sarkhan Hashimov and international grandmaster Jahangir Agharahimov were elected members of the Executive Committee.
