U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Earle Litzenberger has extended condolences over the death of military officers due to the crash of the State Border Service helicopter. 

"Ambassador Litzenberger expresses his condolences for the lives lost in the helicopter crash. Our sympathies are with their families and friends," the U.S. Embassy has said in the statement.

On November 30, the military helicopter of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan crashed when performing training flights on the Garaheybat air range in Khizi. Fourteen people were killed, two others were injured in the crash.
