Azerbaijani Defense Minister meets with Commander-in-Chief of Defense Forces of Bahrain

On December 10, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, colonel general Zakir Hasanov has met with Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Forces of the Kingdom of Bahrain, field marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.

Expressing satisfaction with the military cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Defense Minister stressed the importance of developing the work carried out in this field.

The guest asked to convey congratulations on behalf of himself and the King of Bahrain to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, and all the personnel of the Azerbaijani Army on the occasion of the glorious victory in the Patriotic War.

The sides discussed the military-political situation in the region, the prospects of the development of the military cooperation as well as other issues in the field of defense.
