"ANAMA is planning to get 30 mine dogs by 2023," chairman of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov has said.

According to him, 20 of them have already been sent to the Agency: "12 of the specially trained dogs have been bought by ANAMA, and 18 have been bought by individual donors. It is expected to continue the existing cooperation and bring new dogs in the coming years."

The chairman has also reminded that last year, there was an increase in the number of specially trained dogs involved in demining operations.
