The Azerbaijani Army soldier Kazimov Vusal Vugar, who was injured in a military truck accident on March 3, was evacuated to a military medical facility.
According to Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry, that despite doctors' efforts, it was not possible to save his life.
An investigation is underway.
"The leadership of the Ministry of Defense extends its deepest condolences to the relatives of the deceased serviceman," MoD said.
