Chairman of the "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC Rovshan Mammadov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada. 

At the meeting, the sides have discussed the prospects of the establishment of relations between Japanese TV channels and radio stations with the "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC. It has been noted that AzTV, Madaniyyat and Idman TV channels are ready for cooperation with the CJSC. 

The Ambassador has been given detailed information about AzTV's history, development road and deep reforms carried out for providing the modern broadcasting. 

It has been highlighted that Azerbaijan Television has close relations with relevant institutions of a number of world countries. In this regard, the CJSC is interested in the cooperation with Japanese TV channels and radio stations. 

Ambassador Junichi Wada has noted that relevant institutions of Japan are open to negotiations for the cooperation with Azerbaijan Television, and that he will support the formation and development of the relations in the future. He has highly estimated Azerbaijan Television's interest in the cooperation with Japanese TV channels and radio stations.
