Azerbaijan confirms 16 new COVID-19 cases

Azerbaijan has recorded 16 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has informed. 

Meanwhile, 19 people recovered from the infection, and no one succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 792, 253 cases of infection, 782, 351 recoveries, and 9, 703 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. The number of active patients is 199.

Azerbaijan has conducted 6, 746, 085 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 2, 624 today.
