President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has addressed the opening ceremony of Rize-Artvin Airport.

The head of state said that relations between the two countries are based on historical roots.

Ilham Aliyev stressed that relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey have increased at the level of an alliance.
