"The attack on the Ukrainian city of Odesa worried us. Such attacks should not be repeated," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with TV 100.

"We hope that the processes will continue without problems. We will also contribute to this. We do this not only for ourselves but for the whole world. It is in the interest of both parties that things proceed smoothly. Otherwise, serious problems may arise. If the processes continue successfully, perhaps this will lead to peace," he said.

The minister said that Turkiye's initiatives will continue for the parties to hold negotiations: "Neither Russia nor Ukraine wants to sit at the negotiations table as a weak side. But they can't have the same strength. Unfortunately, some want the war to be prolonged. They even wanted to prevent the Grain Agreement".
