From 8:10 am to 12:40 pm on September 7, the Armenian armed forces units periodically fired on the Azerbaijani Army positions stationed in the Ahmadli settlement of the Lachin district from the positions in the Noravan settlement of the Garakilsa region of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, using various caliber weapons, citing the Defense Ministry.
At the same time, an excavator of a civil company that carries out road works was also subject to fire.
No one was injured.
“In order to prevent further provocations by the Armenian armed forces, our units have taken retaliatory measures.
“Operating conditions are under the full control of our units.
“We inform you that the military and political leadership of Armenia is fully responsible for the results of any conflict created on the state border,” the ministry said in a statement.
