Russian President Vladimir Putin announced partial mobilization in the Russian Federation.

“In order to protect our homeland, it was decided to support the proposal of the Ministry of Defense on partial mobilization. I emphasize that this is partial mobilization. Only citizens who are currently in the reserve and, above all, those who served in in the ranks of the Armed Forces, has certain military specialties and relevant experience. Those called up for military service will undergo additional military training without fail, taking into account the experience of a special military operation. The decree on partial mobilization has been signed," Putin said.

According to him, mobilization activities in Russia will begin today.
