Third meeting of Russian-Azerbaijani Expert Council kicks off in Baku

A conference on “Russian-Azerbaijani relations in the 21st century: strategic partnership in the context of regional security” dedicated to the first anniversary of the signing of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the third meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani Expert Council have started in Baku.

The events were attended by well-known political scientists of Russia and Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani MPs.

Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations, and Andrey Kortunov, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council, addressed the opening ceremony of the meeting. The importance of discussions on regional security, joint political activity, economic cooperation and joint humanitarian activities was emphasized.
