The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has evidence that the perpetrators of the Crocus City Hall attack received large amounts of money from Ukraine, the committee said in a statement, via TASS.

"Investigators have verified information that large amounts of money and cryptocurrency that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack received trace back to Ukraine; the funds were used in preparing the crime," the statement reads.

The committee also pointed out that the initial results of the investigation fully confirmed that the actions of the terrorists were carefully planned, while the masterminds of the crime were equally diligent and provided financial support to them. "Investigators’ work with the detained terrorists, the examination of technical equipment that was seized from them and the analysis of information about financial transactions prove their connection to Ukrainian nationalists," the statement said.
