A plenary session of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic has been held today.
AZTV.AZ reports that opening the session, chairman of Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov has presented the agenda. Twenty-two issues have been on the agenda of the session. The issue of the election of an ombudsman has also been discussed.
Deputy head of the Apparatus of the Constitutional Court Sabina Aliyeva has been elected the ombudsman of Azerbaijan.
104 MPs have voted in her favor.
Sabina Aliyeva has sworn in as the ombudsman in front of the MPs.
