Azerbaijani MP delivers speech at Baltic Assembly

The 38th session of the Baltic Assembly has been held in Latvia’s capital Riga.

Head of the Milli Majlis delegation to GUAM Parliamentary Assembly (PA), MP Azar Karimli, at the same time, MP Ali Masimli and deputy head of the International Relations Department of Milli Majlis Rustam Mahmudov have represented Azerbaijan at the session.

Addressing the session, Azar Karimli spoke about the bilateral relations between GUAM PA and the Baltic Assembly and the international activity of Milli Majlis.

He stressed the necessity of mutually beneficial cooperation: “The activity of the parliamentary diplomacy is important in interstate relations. At the same time, the work of interparliamentary working groups must be strengthened,” A. Karimli noted.
