Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on the dismissal of Nizamaddin Mahammad Guliyev from the position of the head of Aghstafa District Executive Power. 

It is noteworthy that Nizamaddin Guliyev was detained yesterday. AZTV.AZ reports citing the State Security Service, suspicions were identified that Nizamaddin Guliyev demanded and took bribes from entrepreneurs via his deputy Ramiz Tatarov. Along with this, it was identified that Nizamaddin Guliyev demanded and took from the heads of medicine, education and other local state facilities a certain amount of the finances allocated for the maintenance of the local state bodies at the expense of the budget and took the salary cards of low-income families.

During the inspection in the offices of Nizamaddin Guliyev and Deputy Ramiz Tatarov, the money, documents were retrieved.

Nizamaddin Guliyev and others were detained as suspects in the criminal cases initiated in the relevant articles of the Criminal Code at the State Security Service.

Currently, the immediate investigation-operation events to identify other participants of the criminal case are continued.
